Yesterday afternoon Francesco Di Sarno came to visit our stand. He is the Regional Food & Beverage Manager of DNV GL, the body that certifies our excellence, and came for the delivery of the Carbon Footprint Certificate of “Fontana PDO Parma Ham with bone”.

The Carbon Footprint is an indicator used to evaluate the consumption of natural resources caused by a product (in this case) compared to the capacity of the Planet to regenerate such resources.

Together with the environmental and energy certifications that our company has been achieving for several years, this study has enabled us to develop new data and further work on the environmental impact: a contribution that we are committed to pushing forward, for ourselves and for the future generations.
